Once upon a time, in a far-off land, there were two buttons named Button Blue and Button Red. They lived together in a jar full of buttons in a sewing store.
Button Blue was very proud of his shiny blue color, while Button Red was envious of Button Blue's beauty. Button Red was always jealous of Button Blue and wished he could be just as attractive.
One day, a young girl came into the store looking for some buttons for her new dress. As she looked through the jar, she noticed Button Blue's dazzling color and picked him up, admiring his beauty.
Button Red saw this and grew even more envious. He wished that the young girl would pick him up instead of Button Blue. But, unfortunately for him, the girl chose to buy Button Blue and left the store.
Button Red was very sad and cried himself to sleep that night. But, as he slept, he had a dream where he learned that everyone is special in their own way. He realized that he had his own unique qualities that made him special too.
The next morning, Button Red woke up feeling much better and looked at himself in the mirror. He saw his bright red color and noticed how it contrasted with the other buttons in the jar. He realized that he didn't have to be like Button Blue to be special and appreciated.
From then on, Button Red stopped being jealous and learned to appreciate his own unique beauty. And, whenever someone came into the store and picked him up, he would shine bright and show off his true colors.
